Oleksandr Yandulskiy
Doctor of Engineering, Professor,
Dean of FEPEA, scientific supervisor of PSA department

Oleksandr Yandulskiy is the chairman of the Scientific and Methodological Commission on Electrical Engineering of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, member of the professional council of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, Honorary member of the International Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineers (USA), member of the collegium of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Ministry of Fuel and Energy of Ukraine, chairman of the specialized council, Laureate of the State Prize.

In 1976 he graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute, where he has been working since the same year, consecutively holding positions of engineer-researcher, junior researcher, assistant, associate professor, leading researcher, professor, head of the department of AE. In 1981 he successfully completed his postgraduate studies at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute. In 1997 he defended his doctoral dissertation and was awarded the degree of Doctor of Engineering. In 1999 Oleksandr Yandulskiy was elected Dean of FEPEA. In 2000 he was awarded the scientific title of professor. He has over 150 scientific works, including monographs, textbooks, textbooks, candidates of technical sciences.

Anatoliy Marchenko
PhD, associate professor, acting head of PSA department

In 1985 Anatoliy Marchenko graduated from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Automation of NTUU “KPI” in the specialty “Cybernetics of Power Systems” and remained working at the department. In 1993 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Transients in tone channels, organized on distribution electrical networks”. He is the author of about 80 scientific and 10 methodical works.

Anatoliy Marchenko is responsible for the research work of the Department of PSA. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Automated and automatic control in power systems; Automatic control in power systems; Automatic control theory.

Oleksandr Dmytrenko
PhD, associate professor

In 1994 Oleksandr Dmytrenko graduated from the FEPEA of NTUU “KPI” with the specialty “Control systems of production and distribution of electric energy”. He has been working at the department of PSA since 1998. He defended his dissertation on the topic “Improving the efficiency of microprocessor devices of relay protection and automation in distribution networks”. Oleksandr Dmytrenko is the author of 26 scientific and 8 methodical works, he has the certificate of authorship for the invention.

Oleksandr Dmytrenko is responsible for the educational-methodical work of the PSA department. He is the curator of ЕК-31мp/ЕК-31мn groups. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Relay protection of electrical systems; Automation of electrical systems; Mathematical modeling of systems and processes; Solving power electric problems on a PC.

Oleg Kurson
PhD, associate professor

In 1968 Oleg Kurson graduated from the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Automation of Heat and Power Processes, and from that year worked at the Department of PSA. In 1975 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Some methods and means of development of information networks for control of electrical systems”. In the 80’s he held a post of deputy dean and then of the dean for work with foreign students. For a long time Oleg Kurson taught at Tunisia’s Higher National School of Engineering. He is the author of about 100 scientific works, 12 of them – copyright certificates for inventions and patents.

Oleg Khomenko
PhD, associate professor

In 1978 Oleg Khomenko graduated from the FEPEA faculty of the Kyiv Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Cybernetics of Electrical Systems and remained working at the department of power systems automation. In 1990 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Models and methods of optimization of distribution electrical networks operating modes for personal computers”. He is the author of about 90 scientific and methodological works.

Oleg Khomenko is responsible for the educational and organizational work of the department. He lectures on the following subjects: Mathematical problems of the power industry; Computational methods and algorithmization. He is also the supervisor of master’s and bachelor’s theses of students.

Artem Nesterko
PhD, associate professor

In 2013 Artem Nesterko graduated from the FEPEA of NTUU “KPI” with the specialty “Control systems of production and distribution of electric energy” and remained working at the department of PSA. In 2017 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Improving the quality of frequency regulation of the electric power system with renewable energy sources”. He has 10 scientific papers and 2 methodical works.

Artem Nesterko is the curator of all extramural study groups at PSA department. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Algorithmization and programming of power tasks; Object oriented programming; Automated and automatic control in power systems; Application packages for PCs; Basics of relay protection; Computational methods and algorithmization; Automatic control in power systems; Computer engineering and programming.

Daryna Lavrenova
PhD, senior lecturer

Daryna Lavrenova graduated from NTUU “KPI” 2002 with a major “Information and measuring systems”. Defended her dissertation on the topic “Accuracy Increasing Of Tests Laboratories Professional Level Evaluation” 2009. She is the author of 15 scientific works.

Daryna Lavrenova is responsible for promoting the employment of graduates of the department and coordinates the admission company to the magistracy. She is the curator of ЕК-21мp and ЕК-21мn groups. She lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Fundamentals of Metrology and Electrical Measurements; Information Controlling Systems and Information Storage Facilities for Electric Power Industry; Basics of the Scientific Research; Basics and Means of Information Transmission for Electric Power Industry; Scientific work on the topic of the master’s thesis – 1. Daryna Lavrenova is a supervisor of master’s and bachelor’s theses of students.

Oleksandr Tymokhin

In 2003 Oleksandr Tymokhin graduated from the FEPEA of NTUU “KPI” with the specialty “Control systems of production and distribution of electric energy” and remained working at the department of PSA. In 2019 he defended his dissertation on the topic “Information support of control systems of electric power networks on the basis of transmission of broadband signals in the distribution networks 0,4 … 10 kV”. He has 10 scientific works (2 of them are patents for invention).

Oleksandr Tymokhin is the system administrator of the FEPEA computer network. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Digital electronics in power engineering; Microprocessor technology; Fundamentals and means of information transmission; Programming for microprocessor systems; Application packages for PCs.

Dmytro Nastenko
senior lecturer

Dmytro Nastenko graduated from the Faculty of Cybernetics of Shevchenko Kyiv University majoring in Applied Mathematics in 1992. Since 2007 he has been working at the FEPEA department of KPI. Dmytro Nastenko is the author of 24 scientific works (3 abroad) and 40 methodological works and manuals.

At the PSA department he is responsible for educational work and for organizing the work of the state examination board. Dmytro Nastenko lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Means of information storage in the energy sector; Object-oriented programming; Computer engineering and programming; Automatic control theory; Computer engineering and algorithmic languages.

Volodymyr Zakolodyazhniy

In 2002 Volodymyr Zakolodyazhniy graduated from the FEPEA department of NTUU “KPI” with the specialty “Control systems of production and distribution of electric energy” and remained working at the Department of PSA. He has 14 scientific and 7 methodical works, including a patent for the invention.

Volodymyr Zakolodyazhniy is responsible for production practice for students of the department. He is the curator of the EK-01 group. He lectures and conducts laboratory classes on the following subjects: Emergency automation; Design and operation of relay protection and automation deviced; Automation of electrical systems; Relay protection of electrical systems; Means of storing information in the energy sector; Fundamentals and means of information transmission in the power industry.

In 2012 Anastasiia Tymokhina graduated from the FEPEA department of NTUU “KPI” with the specialty “Control systems of production and distribution of electric energy”. Since 2013 she has been working at the Department of Power Systems Automation. She has about ten scientific articles and theses.

Anastasiia Tymokhina is the curator of EK-21 group.
